What We Help With

Tell us what is going on, we will help you from there

You do not need a diagnosis to book. If something is weighing on you, that is reason enough to talk to someone.

Anxiety

Constant worry, racing thoughts, panic, or feeling on edge much of the time.

Depression and low mood

Flat mood, low motivation, trouble sleeping, or losing interest in things you used to enjoy.

Stress and burnout

Feeling worn down by work or study, and struggling to switch off.

Trauma and PTSD

Difficult past experiences that still affect how you feel day to day.

Grief and loss

Support after the death of someone close, a separation, or another major loss.

Relationships and family

Conflict, communication, parenting pressure, or patterns that keep repeating.

Self-esteem and confidence

Harsh self-talk, second-guessing yourself, or difficulty setting boundaries.

Life transitions

New job, new baby, a move, a diagnosis, or any change that has knocked you off balance.

How It Works

From enquiry to first session

Every session is a live video consultation with your practitioner.

  1. 01 Tell us what you need

Fill in the short form. Our intake team asks about what you are going through and what you want from therapy.

  2. 02 We recommend the right practitioner

Our intake team considers what you have told us against each practitioner's clinical experience, then recommends the one suited to it. Our team is small, so this is a considered decision.

  3. 03 Meet by secure video

You speak with your practitioner live, face to face, over an encrypted video call. Sessions run from home or anywhere private.

  4. 04 Keep working with the same person

You stay with your practitioner across sessions. If the fit is not right, tell us and we will move you to someone else at no extra cost.

Common Questions

Common questions

How does an online session work?

You meet your practitioner live over video at your booked time. A link is emailed to you beforehand, so you open it and join. It works on a phone, tablet or computer. You need a camera, a microphone, an internet connection and somewhere private to sit.

Do I need a referral from my GP?

You can book with a counsellor or psychotherapist directly. If you want to claim a Medicare rebate for sessions with a psychologist, your GP first assesses you and prepares a Mental Health Treatment Plan. Your GP stays part of your care either way, and we are happy to talk to them about the telehealth process.

Can I use a Mental Health Treatment Plan I already have?

Yes. If you have a current plan with sessions left on it, tell us when you enquire and we will confirm the details so your Medicare claim is set up correctly.

What if my practitioner is not the right fit?

Tell us and we will move you to someone else at no extra cost. Feeling comfortable with your practitioner matters, and it is normal for the first match not to be the one.

Is what I say confidential?

Yes. Sessions run on an encrypted platform and your information is handled under Australian privacy law and professional ethical standards. Information is only shared with your consent, apart from rare situations where there is a risk of harm. Your practitioner will explain this in your first session.

Who do you work with?

Our psychologists work across children, teens, adults and older adults, depending on the practitioner. Sessions are available anywhere in Australia, including regional and remote areas. Tell us your situation and we will match you accordingly.

Talk to someone this week

Send us your details and our intake team will match you with a practitioner. If you are not sure what you need yet, that is fine. That is what the first conversation is for.
